Simanya River Lodge
Simanya is the most upscale lodge in the Kavango West region. Apart from our spacious rooms, all guests are rewarded with unobstructed river views. Simanya is the nearest river lodge to the Capital, Windhoek, situated only 650 km away, by making use of the fully tarred B15, “Timber Route”.
Our lodge, that is situated only 13 kilometers from Nkurenkuru, the Capital of the Kavango West Region, offers conference facilities for up to 120 delegates. All guests and visitors are welcome to make use of our restaurant that offers exquisite river views, or to have a drink and snacks at our Fancy Ficherman Pub.
Our main setting includes an infinity pool that overlooks the Kavango river, together with a deck and boma, that offers the same spectacular views.

Shaded and grassed campsites on the river’s edge. All campsites come with a private ablution facility that includes a shower, toilet and washbasin. Added to this is a private “braai area”, that includes a sink with hot water for washing up.
