Epupa Camp offers you a relaxing yet exhilarating few days of personalized service and excellent meals in the seclusion of a lush riverine wilderness of ana trees, wild figs, makhani palms, and baobabs. We are situated on the southern bank of the Kunene River.
We offer four kinds of accommodation—tented rooms, self-catering tented-campsites, traditional campsites and the cottage. The ten comfortable safari-style tents consist of eight twin tented rooms, one honeymoon tented room with a queen-sized bed, and a four-bed family tented room, all with en suite bathrooms. The tents have electric lights and mosquito netting at the windows and doors. Shaded patios in front of the tents overlook the Kunene River’s flow to the Atlantic Ocean.
The self-catering dome tents, each with two single beds and linen, provide basic accommodation on this campsite. Barbecue and ablution facilities are also provided. The barbecue area is on the riverfront with a lovely Kunene River view. This campsite is perfect for guests and groups fully equipped for self-catering. Community members supply firewood and offer laundry services at negotiated rates. The Cottage is an en-suite accommodation, privately situated on the bank of the river, suited for honeymooners or couples only.
