The Gabus Game Ranch is situated in the North of Namibia, just ten kilometers outside the town of Otavi at the foot of the Uiseb Mountains. The Game Ranch represents a carefully preserved piece of nature inhabited by a huge selection of game species and boasts a very comfortable farmyard that offers an incomparable cozy ambience.

The Gabus Game Ranch is an ideal guest farm to stay on your journey to the Etosha Pan, the Caprivi Strip or to the Kaokoveld, Damara- or Bushman land. Guests are accommodated in comfortable thatched bungalows with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, or in the suite, which is ideal for the family with children. No matter where you find yourself - on the veranda of your bungalow, on the terrace, in the pool or at the bar - the water hole is always in sight and is also illuminated at night.

Days may be spent on game drives or hiking safaris under the guidance of Heinz Kuehl. Some of the Game that can be viewed is Eland, Kudu, Zebra, Waterbuck, Impala, Black Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Kudus etc. With luck, even a cheetah or Leopard may be glimpsed hiding in the tall grass. During the rainy season Gabus Ranch is changed into an ornithological Dorado.

Dinner is a culinary experience of the best quality game meat, farm fresh vegetables and salads. On request special meals for Vegetarians can also be catered for. A healthy and hearty Breakfast is served in the morning at the restaurant or under the Lapa.

On Gabus Game Ranch a sunset at the pool near the waterhole will also become an unforgettable experience for you.

Activities available at the Game Ranch:

• Game Drives on the farm with a wide variety of game to be seen including Eland, Giraffe, Zebra, Waterbuck, Impala, Black Wildebeest and Kudus etc.
• Bird watching and hiking trails and guided walks are offered on request to the hides and viewing points on the mountain.
• A waterhole nearby the swimming pool where guests can sit and observe animals throughout the day. The waterhole is also illuminated during the night.

• 1 air-conditioned family room (shower and WC)
• All with en-suite bathrooms as well as mosquito nets.
• One of the twin rooms has a Jacuzzi and caters for honeymooners
